  • Dec 1, 2020: ATB was postponed last minute due to a spike in cases in Hong Kong
  • May 26, 2021: Second ATB set to launch with stricter vaccination requirements or a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to departure and another test taken upon arrival

There’s a “once-bitten-twice-shy” mentality, as the last bubble was halted just five days prior to launch-date, due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong. Now we see a cautiously optimistic uptick after the travel bubble announcement.
